ANTHONY DARING is scheduled to preach this coming Sunday, February 14. Plan to hear his message, "Love Me, Love Me Not."

Also this coming Sunday we will be voting on those nominated to serve as deacons in the coming year. All members of the church are encouraged to participate in the selection process. That afternoon at 5:00 p.m. the church board will meet. This is open to anyone, but we particularly encourage all deacons and elders to be in attendance.

THE FOLLOWING SUNDAY, February 21, we will begin a "Spiritual Adventure" intended to help us more effectively take Christ into our community. This unique 50 days will involve reading the Christian classic, in His Steps by Charles Sheldon, which will be distributed to every family following the morning service, daily Bible study based on the Sunday sermons, praying daily for our community, sharing Christ with others, and practicing looking at our community through Jesus’ eyes, seeing what we can do to improve it and then taking positive action to help achieve that goal.

A NEW WEDNESDAY EVENING STUDY WILL BEGIN March 3. "The Gospel and the End of Time" is the topic as we go through 1st and 2nd Thessalonians. You can begin preparing for this study by reading through these letters from the apostle Paul several times between now and then. In the weeks ahead I will be sharing questions with you to aid in your reading and then we will discuss them as a part of each evening's class. Enrollment will begin this coming Sunday so that study guides can be prepared for everyone planning to attend.

Looking forward to seeing you Sunday,

Richard

food basket smFood Pantry Running Low!

The Knightstown Christian Church stocks a food pantry to help out those in need. In Jesus name, your food donations are used to minister to those who need it most. Unfortunately our supplies are running very low. If you would like to help out, please bring your donations to the church building. Boxes of cereal would be especially appreciated.
